Museum raffling off Harley, buy tix now

It is Harley time again and the New England Carousel Museum is kicking off its annual Harley Davidson raffle for 2012. Tickets are now available out in the community for sale at a variety of locations in the Greater Bristol area. Now in the 15th year, the raffle is the museum’ biggest fundraiser of the year and helps to support the general operations and educational programming for the museum. As a change of pace, first prize is a splendid 2012 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide motorcycle, second prize is a 5′ x 8′ trailer, and third prize is a $100 gift certificate, redeemable at Yankee Harley Davidson in Bristol. Two thousand-five-hundred tickets will be sold at $20 per ticket.
The public drawing will be held at The New England Carousel Museum on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to witness the drawing but the winner need not be present. The winner is called immediately upon completion of the drawing.
Tickets may be purchased at the Carousel Museum at 95 Riverside Ave In Bristol, at Andy’s Hair Studio, Hamelin & Sons Garage, Pine Street Package Store, Martino’s Market, Webster Bank on Pine Street, the Chamber of Commerce, Harvest Bakery, Burlington Wine & Spirits, Yankee Harley Davidson, Greer’s Chicken, South Side Market, Real Roy, Bristol Glass, The Bristol Water Department, Trim Unlimited, Gateway Cafe and Chute Gates in Terryville, the Bushnell Park Carousel in Hartford, Jerzie Joe’s in Southington, Sliders in Plainville and Blaze Barber Shop in New Britain.
The museum is located at 95 Riverside Avenue, Route 72 in Bristol.
