This just in from the city Parks and Recreation Department…

The Bristol Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for its Adult Volleyball program that will begin on November 15th. This program is designed for adults 18 years of age and older who want to play volleyball with adults of their own ability two nights a week.

Adult volleyball will meet on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Chippens Hill Middle School. Two or three nets will be set up each night and players will split up by ability for game play. Participants interested in competitive play should be able to accurately bump, set, and spike a volleyball. Otherwise, players will play at an intermediate or recreational net. The nets will be set at 8 feet for coed play. Teams will be formed each night for organized game play.

The program will run in 2 sessions. Session 1 will run from November 15th – Jan. 17th. Session 2 will run from January 22nd – March 19th. The fee is $30.00 per session. Registration is now being accepted at the Parks and Recreation Department weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Players must show proof of registration prior to participation.
