Bristol, Conn. (November 29, 2012) – The Sanford-Brown College-Farmington fashion design and merchandising program will host a fashion show at 8pm on Thursday November 29, 2012 at The New England Carousel Museum. The “Forget-me-not” Fashion Show will feature one-of-a-kind garments designed by students.
The New England Carousel Museum houses an indoor carousel, which will be open for rides before the show, from 7pm to 8 pm. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the museum, as well as to the Sanford-Brown College scholarship fund. New York designer–and New Haven native, Emmett McCarthy (www.emmettmccarthy.com), of Project Runway fame, will emcee the event. The International School of Cosmetology in Wethersfield will be designing the hair and makeup looks for the show.

The New England Carousel Museum is located at 95 Riverside Ave, Rt 72, Bristol, CT 06010. Tickets will be sold at the door, or can be purchased in advance at SBC – Farmington, located at 270 Farmington Avenue, Suite 245. Tickets are $10.
