Fatal crash Friday morning

Bristol police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred last Friday morning at the intersection of South Street and Willis Street.
According to a press release, officers arrived on scene and found three people injured in a two car crash.
The one fatality was identified as Wanda Belisle, 90, of Bristol, who was a passenger of a Buick Lesabre that was traveling eastbound on South Street. The Buick, which was operated by Gerard Nadeau, 66, of Terryville, was crossing the intersection of Willis Street when it was struck by a Chevy Cavalier, operated by Melissa Maddaloni, 22, of Cheshire. Maddaloni, who was traveling north on Willis Street, and Nadeau were both treated for minor injuries.
Officers from the department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (START) responded to the crash scene and initiated the investigation.
