Bristol police are investigating a robbery that happened last Saturday at the Citgo gas station at 527 Middle St. The clerk at the gas station said the male suspect handed her $10 for cigarettes, and when she opened the cash register the man, who had a knife, demanded money, a press release said.
The suspect was described as a 40-year-old unshaven male, with a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers, the release said.
The suspect left the building through the north door of the gas station and was believed to be on foot when he left the property. An undetermined amount of cash was taken from the register. There were no injuries reported. The robbery is under investigation by the Bristol Police Criminal Investigation Division.
