The Bristol Fire Department and Police Department responded to a school bus fire in the area of Mines Road last Friday morning.
According to a press release, “The bus driver initially heard popping noises coming from the engine area and then observed sparks coming from the same location.”
There were three students on the bus, ages seven to 10, along with the bus driver, The release said all four individuals exited the bus and no injuries were reported.
“The fire was quickly extinguished by the fire Dept. and the students were transported to school on a replacement bus,” the release said.
