Christmas Day robbery

Bristol police are investigating a Christmas Day armed robbery at Cumberland Farms on Central Street. A little after 4 p.m. police were called to the convenience store at 191 Central St., where a “white, Hispanic male” displayed a handgun and robbed the business. The male was described as being 5 foot 3 inches, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, a blue wool cap and a blue scarf over his face, a press release said.
The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money, and no one was injured during the robbery.
Officers from the uniformed Patrol Division, including a K-9 unit, were on scene shortly after receiving the 9-1-1 call.
