A gas station was robbed and three people were subsequently arrested on Thursday, Dec. 27, police reported. Police said officers were sent to the Citgo at 436 Broad St., after receiving a report of an armed robbery. Police said the caller said a male armed with a pistol and wearing a mask pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. Once the suspect was given the money, he left the Citgo Station. Officers were dispatched into the area and while checking vehicles, offers stopped one with a male and two females. Police investigated further and found a mask and weapon in the car. The Criminal Investigation Division along with the patrol officers at the scene recovered the mask, clothes worn during the robbery, the pistol, and the money stolen. Police arrested: Angel Delgado, 37, of Newington. He was charged with first degree robbery, second degree larceny and, criminal possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $500,000. Miriam Martinez, 32, of New Britain. She was charged with criminal liability in first degree robbery and criminal liability in second degree larceny. Her bond was set at $100,000. Morayma Martinez, 33, of New Britain She was charged with criminal liability in first degree robbery and criminal liability in second degree larceny. Her bond was set at $100,000. Police said no one was injured in the incident.
