City’s CERT to meet

On Wednesday Feb 20 at 6:30 p.m., the Bristol CERT (Community Emergency Response Response Team) group will be holding its monthly meeting at the Bristol main library located at 5 High Street.
CERT is a trained volunteer organization, locally based to provide rapid and safe care for residents. CERT provides support to the city’s emergency personnel when needed, in case of events and emergency incidents, as well as large scale disasters.
Monthly meetings are open to the public and CERT encourages citizens to stop by to see what CERT is all about.
This month’s meeting is one week later then due to a scheduling conflict.
Meeting agendas are available a few days prior to the meeting on their public website at in the “About Us” section. You also can visit Bristol CERT at to find out more information about training and how they help out in the community.
