Senior Baseball League seeking players

Connecticut North Men’s Senior Baseball League (CNMSBL) announces its 25th season beginning 2013. The CNMSBL is an amateur baseball league for players 28 years old and older. Although CNMSBL is officially an over 28-year-old league it does allow players 25 years old and older also to play, however players under 28 cannot pitch or catch.
“It gives us all a chance to live our dreams again on the baseball field playing the game we love,” said CNMSBL President, Dennis Lodovico in a press release.
The CNMSBL plays most of its games on Sundays. Games are seven innings and no games start before 10 a.m. “It’s kind of funny,” said Dennis, in the release, “but every time I mention that I play baseball to someone they automatically think its softball that I’m playing. I have to constantly correct them and say, not softball – I play baseball. For some reason people think we abandon our desire to play baseball and settle for playing softball. It’s baseball the game we grew up playing and now can still play.”
CNMSBL is always looking for players, or full squad teams, for the league. They accept players of all different levels of talent. Call Dennis at (860) 515-6865, or email him at: cnmsbl@sbcglobal.net, or visit the CNMSBL website at: cnmsbl.org for more information.
CNMSBL is an affiliate of the Men’s Senior Baseball League, which was founded in 1986 and is comprised of more than 350 leagues, 55,000 players across the United States, as well as in more than 10 other countries.
