Police investigating November armed robbery

Bristol Police are investigating an armed bank robbery that happened in November, last year. The robbery happened on Nov. 29 at the United Bank on 888 Farmington Ave., at about 5:50 p.m.

The two suspects involved are being described as wearing black ski masks, black gloves, black jackets and dark colored pants, a press release said. While one suspect, armed with a handgun, held the other bank employees at gunpoint, the second suspect jumped over the counter and ordered the teller to place the cash into a black. After obtaining the money both suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, the release said.

United Bank is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
