Bristol Police are investigating an armed bank robbery that happened in November, last year. The robbery happened on Nov. 29 at the United Bank on 888 Farmington Ave., at about 5:50 p.m.
The two suspects involved are being described as wearing black ski masks, black gloves, black jackets and dark colored pants, a press release said. While one suspect, armed with a handgun, held the other bank employees at gunpoint, the second suspect jumped over the counter and ordered the teller to place the cash into a black. After obtaining the money both suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, the release said.
United Bank is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
