Bristol police investigating robbery at Whole Donut

Bristol police are investigating a robbery at the Whole Donut at 2 Burlington Ave., that happened on Sunday evening. Police are looking for a suspect described as a while male in his 40’s, about six feet tall weighing between 160 and 165 pounds, a press release said

The suspect, who had white facial hear and was wearing a dark jacket or sweatshirt, blue jeans and a surgical mask and gloves, entered the Whole Donut a little after 8 p.m., and told the cashier he was going to rob her. The cashier ran out the back door and yelled for help, the release said, and the suspect went through the cash register and took an undetermined amount of money. He left through the front door and was seen walking north on Burlington Avenue.

Two males witnessed the suspect leaving, the release said, but Bristol police weren’t able to locate him, as of Monday. The cashier was left unharmed, and Bristol police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to contact Officer Osborne at (860) 584-3011
