Theater presentation intended to broach serious topics with youths

May 14, 2013

Families are invited to join us for an interactive educational theater presentation this weekend called “Reality Check: The Choice is Yours.”
Foster Adoptive Mission and Bristol Youth Services invite your family to an interactive live theater performance about some serious topics. Through the use of humor and drama youth and their parents will learn more about topics of concern to families in today’s world of instantaneous communication and widespread access to many enticements that did not exist 30 years ago.
Teens will have fun and learn as they watch humorous presentations about texting and sexting, cyberbullying and internet safety, gaming addiction, and gambling addiction among other topics.
The goal of this event is to present information to teens to help them think through the temptations and important, sometimes life-changing decisions facing them every day.
Please note: Due to the mature content in the skits, this show is not appropriate for anyone under age 12 so children under 12 will not be admitted.
The presentation will be held on May 19 at 3 pm at Bristol Boys and Girls Club and Family Center located at 105 Laurel St. in Bristol. Space is limited. Call (203)706-0101 to reserve a seat.
