Cars, crafts, Italian Fest take over downtown

Saturday, June 15 has been tapped as the date of the fourth annual Team Bristol-2013 Car Show and  Crafts Fair to be held on North Main Street in downtown Bristol. In addition, St. Anthony’s annual festival will be held right up the street on the St. Anthony Church grounds. The festival, featuring children’s rides, apple fritters, fried dough, and games galore is open the entire weekend.
Combining classic cars with crafters, children’s rides and countless culinary treats, downtown Bristol will have something for everyone.
Starting at 4 p.m., the car show wraps up around 8 p.m. From Model Ts to muscle cars, the show will feature trophies for the top 50 entries and dash plaques to the first 200 entrants. There will be participant judging in addition to the Mayor’s Choice award.
Last year’s Car Show and Craft Fair, in conjunction with the St. Anthony Festival, brought in thousands from surrounding towns and packed the downtown area with excitement.
Team Bristol’s goal every year is simply to provide fun, affordable events that bring our community together in the spirit of celebration and good cheer. This year’s sponsors for the Car Show and Craft Fair are ESPN, Renaissance Downtowns, Liberty Recycling, City TrueValue Hardware, and the Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
So, set aside the day and join your friends and neighbors at the Fourth Annual Team Bristol-2013 Car Show and Craft Fair and St. Anthony Festival on North Main Street on June 15 for a day packed with fun, food, friends, fantastic classic cars and more!
Rain date for the car show will be June 22.
