Bristol man arrested after threatening girlfriend with gun

A Bristol man was arrested Tuesday night after police said he threatened his girlfriend with a firearm while his 4-year-old son was present in his apartment.
Police arrested 21-year-old Steven Ounthorgdy, of 54 Prospect St., after police were called to the home for reports of a domestic dispute with a firearm. The release said Ounthorgdy and his 19-year-old girlfriend were arguing in their second floor apartment when Ounthorgdy loaded a .22 semi-automatic Beretta pistol in front of her. Police said Ounthorgdy tried to hide the gun however they were able to locate it. There were no injuries.
Ounthorgdy was arrested and charged with first degree threatening, criminal use of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, risk of injury to a minor, first degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $30,000 bond and was expected to appear in court Wednesday morning.
