Stabbing at McDonald’s investigated

A man was stabbed in the early hours of July 24 at the Farmington Avenue McDonald’s restaurant, police reported.
In a press release, the department said that on July 24, 2013 at 1:25 a.m., Bristol police officers responded to a call from the McDonald’s, 646 Farmington Ave. reporting a stabbing.
Upon the officers’ arrival, the release said, they discovered a man who had suffered a “a severe laceration to his upper arm.”
Police said the initial investigation indicates a disturbance took place between two groups of patrons and several people were involved in a fight.
Police said the victim was transported via ambulance to the Hartford Hospital for medical treatment.
A woman who suffered minor head injuries was transported to Bristol Hospital.
Police said the incident is under investigation by the Bristol police.
