Imagine Nation offers ‘Girls Night Out’ Thursday

The Imagine Nation Museum is sponsoring a “Girls Night Out Program” on Thursday, September 19 for girls ages 8-13 and their mentors, mothers, or a special friend. This free program, “Building Bridges,” will talk about Civil Engineering, a career that involves building bridges and towers. Science, math, and imagination are keys to success in this fascinating field. Come to help solve problems, shape the future, and make a difference. Find out what it takes to pursue this career from Civil Engineer Kayla Perkowski.
A light snack will be served.
This program will be held at the Imagine Nation Museum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19.
While this is a free program, registration is required in advance by calling the Imagine Nation Museum at (860) 314-1400.
This program is made possible by The Main Street Community Foundation, Women and Girls’ Fund.
