Two arrested on burglars charges

During a routine patrol Monday morning, a Bristol police officer noticed damage to the rear door of a vacant home, a press release said.
While officers searched the home, a male and female were seen exiting the house through a window.
The release said the female was immediately taken into custody and, after a short foot chase, officers apprehended the male.
Ashley Colon, 23, of 312 Farmington Ave., Bristol was arrested and charged with first degree burglary, first degree conspiracy to commit burglary, third degree criminal mischief, third degree conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and sale of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of a school. She was held on a $50,000 bond.
Jahquan Totein, 19, of no certain address, was arrested and charged with first degree burglary, first degree conspiracy to commit burglary, third degree criminal mischief, third degree conspiracy to commit criminal mischief and possession of cocaine. He was held on a $50,000.
The release said this home had been previously burglarized and had been assigned to a routine directed patrol list
