Two robbed at gunpoint at Page Park

Bristol police are investigating an armed robbery that happened last Friday at around 10 p.m. at Page Park. A male and female were robbed by two males with handguns while they were sitting in their car parked on the upper portion of Page Park, by Woodland Street, when they noticed a flashlight shining in on the passenger part of the car. Two male suspects opened the passenger and driver side doors demanding wallets, cell phones and the car keys, then fled on foot heading toward Woodland Street. The victims were not injured in the incident, and were able to get a ride to a nearby McDonald’s from a passing motorist, a press release said, where they called police.
Bristol police, including a K-9 unit, and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene.
As of Monday morning the incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Bristol police at (860) 583-3011.
