2014 OM Show director announced

The Older Members Association of the Boys & Girls Club and Family Center of Bristol has announced that the show director for the 2014 “OM Show” will be Dan Checovetes.
Originally from Bristol and a 1996 graduate of Bristol Central High School, Checovetes went to college at Eastern Connecticut State University and has his bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics. He currently resides in New Haven and works full time as a software engineer.
He comes to the OM Show with many years of production experience in many different aspects of theater. He has been the show director for productions at the Thomaston Opera House, Naugatuck Teen Theater, Goshen Players as well as the Warner Theater. His most recent production being “Bat Boy” with the Landmark Drama Club. In addition to his work directing shows, he has experience in stage management as well as technical direction and lighting design.
The OM Show will be held at St. Paul Catholic High School on April 25 and April 26, 2014. Auditions for the OM Show will be held at the Bristol Boys & Girls Club on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 1:30 to 6 p.m. and on Monday, Jan. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m.
