Couple charged with stealing snow blower

Two Bristol residents were arrested in Plainville last Thursday after police said they stole a snow-blower from the side of a Redstone Hill home. Amy Beliveau, 36, and Daniel Munger, 46, were arrested on Dec. 19 after a neighbor called police when they saw the pair loading the snow blower into their vehicle. After police arrived, the pair said they saw the snow blower online advertising it was “free,” Plainville Sgt. Nicholas Mullins said, but this was a false statement.
They were both arrested for sixth degree conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth degree criminal attempt to commit larceny, and simple trespass. In addition, Munger was found with 10 baggies of heroin, and inside the vehicle was a crack pipe and a small amount of crack cocaine, Mullins said.
Munger was additionally charged with illegal possession of crack/cocaine, illegal possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Beliveau was release on a promise to appear, and Munger was held on a $5,000 bond. He is also being charged in a narcotics arrest from July.
Both Munger and Beliveau are residents of 1192 Burlington Ave., Bristol.
