Ensemble seeks musicians for new season

The Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble is a volunteer, adult community band located in BristolConnecticut. The Spring season includes free public concerts that are scheduled for March, May, and July 2014. The ensemble has announced it hasopenings in all sections but are interested in filling openings for bassoon and percussion (mallet percussion is especially needed, the ensemble explained). The ensemble rehearses in Bristol on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at ProspectUnitedMethodistChurch, 99 Summer St. No audition is required, but potential band members are asked to be of high school age or older and have the ability to play at a high school level.
