Historical society, library to show movie on CT in WWII

The Bristol Historical Society in conjunction with the Bristol Public Library will be presenting the movie “Home Front: Connecticut during WW II” at the Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol, on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. in meeting room 3. This CPTV production focuses in on how Connecticut residents survived the wartime shortages, rationing and the advantages and difficulties presented by the war. In particular Bristol is mentioned several times throughout the movie. This event is free and popcorn will be served.
