Retiree golf league now registering

Bristol Parks and Recreation is co-sponsoring its third annual Retiree Golf League at the Pequabuck Golf Club for any Bristol resident who is retired, or any retiree who worked for the City of Bristol, or the Bristol Board of Education.
The league runs for 20 weeks (April 29 to Sept. 9) on Tuesdays 9 a.m. to noon. Week 21 will feature an 18-hole tournament and banquet. The league is limited to the first 64 players enrolled. The fee is $400, which includes green fees, banquet, tournament and USGA handicap card. Pequabuck members pay $75 for the league (you will be required to show proof of membership at start of program to receive this rate).
Registration deadline is April 17. Interested individuals may register online at www.bristolrec.com, over the phone at (860)584-6160, or in person at the Parks and Recreation office at City Hall on North Main Street, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
