Imagine Nation to raise funds to send city students to ArtScience Prize program

The Imagine Nation Museum will be hosting a fund raiser to help send one of seven teams of Bristol students who are competing to come up with innovative creations that could ultimately change many ways of life. There are 30 high school students in Bristol who are participating in the ArtScience Prize program, which was placed in five Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The winning team will compete in the Annual International Innovation Workshop of ArtScience Labs in Paris, France this June. The ArtScience Prize program, sponsored by Disney, allows the students to work together to use art and science to come up with functional creations.
The April in Paris fundraiser will be held on Thursday, April 3 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature an evening of French culture. Students will be dressing up as French waiters and there will be live entertainment, a silent auction, and food from the French culture.
The April in Paris fundraiser will be held at the New England Carousel Museum, 95 Riverside Ave., Bristol. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at the Imagine Nation Museum, located at 1 Pleasant St., Bristol.
