David LaPointe is the next artist to be featured at the ArtistTree TeaHouse & GALLERY156 (Artisan Teas and Gifts) at 156 and 160 School St.Bristol.
A reception will be held Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Born and raised in Southington, David has shown at many exhibits in the Connecticut and surrounding areas. He is avid with his Internet reach and has many fans of his versatile and beautiful art creations.”
The release said David works in sculpture, crafts, healing artifacts, and painting. He also crafts handmade personal blank page books, dream catchers, wands, jewelry, “weaving his love and inspiration into everything he does. He has beautiful one a kind knitted hats and purses, and has made whimsical flags and soft canvas art at affordable prices.”
The release said: “David catches simple shapes and cleaver and witty concept art in such a way that it speaks to those who get to see it. His art represents his fluid nature, his spirituality and his heart in all he creates.”
Dori Green, the owner of ArtistTree said in the release, “I just love David’s art. He makes things that make me smile and I really enjoy his use of colors and subject matter. He even has an art bag with Larry King on it of all people and it makes me laugh! He has been fun to get to know and I just love when he comes to visit!”

Admission to the reception is $8 at the door. The fee includes food, refreshments, free raffle tickets for door prizes, and a sample live musical performance from the artist David in “PLANTLIFE.”
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Call ahead to be added to a comp list. There will be no comps at the door the day of the event.
