Bristol man wanted for attempted murder

Wanted manBristol police are looking for a man who is wanted for attempted murder after police said he tried to shoot his girlfriend Monday evening.
Bristol police are asking anyone with information on the location of Luis F. Ramos to contact them, as he is being charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, threatening, risk of injury to a minor and criminal use of a firearm.
A press release said police responded to a domestic dispute involving a firearm at 111 Shawn Dr., Monday, a little after 5 p.m. The female victim said she had gotten into an argument with Ramos, her “live-in boyfriend,” who pointed a revolver at her and pulled the trigger more than once, however the firearm malfunctioned each time.
Ramos fled the scene before police showed up, and the victim did not report any injuries however their 4-year-old child was in the apartment during the incident and was unharmed. Officers located two guns in the home.
Bristol Police are asking anyone who may have information about Ramos’ location to contact them at (860)584-3011. Ramos may be operating a brown 2003 4-door Ford Taurus with the license plate 2ADUA6.
Police said he is considered armed and dangerous and advised not to approach him.
