Arrests made in knife attack on Gridley

Police reported several arrested on May 21 related to a knife attack on a juvenile.
Police said that last Wednesday, around 6:30 p.m., the department received a report of a fight in progress involving a knife at 111 Gridley St. Police said officers from the Patrol Division responded and determined that the victim, a female juvenile, had minor non-life threatening knife wounds. Police said detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene.
An investigation into the incident resulted in the arrest of Samuel Valdes of 502 South St. # 812, Bristol, CT who was charged with assault second degree, risk of injury to a minor, reckless endangerment second degree, and breach of peace 53a-181. He was held on a $150,000 bond.
The following arrests also were made in connection to the incident.
Judith Maria Lopez of 111 Gridley St. in Bristol. She was charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace. She was held on a $50,000 bond.
Yazmin Rosario of 111 Gridley St., Bristol, was charged with assault third degree and breach of peace. She was held on a $25,000 bond.
Gisela Osorio of 111 Gridley St., Bristol, was charged with assault third degree 53a-61 and breach of peace. She was held on a $25,000 bond.
Emanual Lopez of 111 Gridley St. in Bristol. He was charged with breach of peace and issued a summons to appear in court.
