Bomb threat reported at Bristol Central

Bristol Central High School was evacuated this morning following a bomb threat.

Superintendent of Schools Ellen Solek sent out the following information:

“This morning at approximately 9:45 AM, a note referencing a bomb in the school was discovered written on a desk at Bristol Central HS. As a safety precaution, the school is now being evacuated to the rear track field. All students and staff are being sent home. The school will be thoroughly searched today by police and bomb squad personnel. Additional updates will be provided throughout the day as warranted. Thank You. ”

In a post on his Facebook page, principal Pete Wininger said there was note found on a desk claiming a bomb would go off on May 27 at 10:46 a.m.
