Project may cause some disruption at police dept.

On Monday, July 28, the Bristol Police Department announced that it and the Bristol Department of Public Works will be working with a contractor to perform upgrades to the Police Department electrical system.
A press release from the department said the project may result in minor disruptions to daily operations at the Police Department as there will be the need to power down certain computer systems during the changeover. “Every effort is being made to minimize any inconvenience to the public.,” said police.
The release also said it is important to note that contingency plans are in place to ensure that emergency services are not disrupted.
The second floor Superior Court operations will not be affected by this upgrade.
