Imagine Nation plans gala event Sept. 20

August 11, 2014

The ImagineNationMuseum is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year. The museum has served the Bristol community and the state of Connecticut as a catalyst for hands-on learning and discovery for over 500,000 children and families.

In celebration of its “Decade of Imagine Nation,” the museum will host a gala on Saturday, Sept. 20. Festivities will begin at the museum located at One Pleasant Street in Bristol at 6 p.m. and will include lively entertainment, an array of food and desserts, a special “signature” cocktail, a silent auction, with a spirited live auction that will include a variety of unique offerings, as well as music and dancing with the Blue Cherry Band. Nicole Nalepa from WFSB Channel 3 will serve as celebrity emcee for the evening.

All proceeds from the gala will be used to support valuable play and exceptional learning experiences for children. “The museum is a division of the Boys & Girls Club and Family Center of Bristol and is committed to enriching the lives of children and families with unique educational hands-on exhibits and programs,” said a press release from the Imagine Nation.
