Cashier injured in armed robbery on Broad Street; suspect at large

A cashier was injured during an armed robbery at a Broad Street gas station on Thursday night. The suspect is still at large, according to police.

Police said that at approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday, the Citgo gas station, 436 Broad St., was robbed by an armed suspect. Police said the suspect made off with an undetermined amount of money.

The cashier was transported by ambulance to Bristol Hospital and treated for injuries he sustained.

The robbery remains under investigation by both the Bristol Police patrol and detective Divisions.

Police said anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the department at (860)584-3011.
