The Bristol Historical Society will be presenting the movie “Home Front: Connecticut during WW II” on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the BHS, 98 Summer St. at 7 p.m. This CPTV production focuses in on how Connecticut residents survived the wartime shortages, rationing and the advantages and difficulties presented by the war. Bristol is mentioned several times throughout the movie. Also that night a presentation will be made by the Captain Edmund P. Zbikowski Post No. 2 of Bristol of the portrait of Captain Zbikowski to the Bristol Historical Society.
