COOKING CLASS: PIZZA. 6:30 p.m. Expand your pizza palate with some regional Italian pizzas. Learn to make pizza dough that can be used to make both savory and sweet pizza. The main focus will be the traditional pizzas of Naples and Sicily including two dessert pizzas. After this class, you won’t be ordering pizza any more. You’ll make it yourself. THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS FOR UNITED WAY 4TH ANNUAL WINE GALA. 5:30 p.m., doors open. Tastings until 8:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of West Central Connecticut. Sample over 70 wines, try many delicious hor’s d’oeuvres. Raffles. Maple End Package Store in Bristol will provide the wine and will take orders for the holiday season.
