Winner of Carousel Museum Harley raffle announced

, a landscaper from Naugatuck won this past weekend the 2014 Street Glide raffle that benefits the New England Carousel Museum.

Second prize, a 5’ x 8’ trailer, went to ticket number 1613 held by Regis Perrett from Torrington. The third prize, a $100 gift certificate redeemable at Yankee Harley Davidson in Bristol, went to Tom Knecht from Washington, CT, with ticket number 1363.

The New England Carousel Museum, a non-profit organization, has run the raffle for 17 years as the major fundraiser each year to benefit the Museum’s educational programming and general operations.

“The raffle is our biggest fundraiser of the year with board members, staff, volunteers, and greater Bristol businesses, working together, all helping to sell tickets to benefit the museum. In addition to bringing in funding, this fundraiser gets us out into the Connecticut community from May through November promoting our museum and all that we offer,” said Louise DeMars, executive director of the museum in a press release. “We receive an amazing positive response from people about their wonderful experiences at the Carousel Museum.”
