The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce is hosting a Small Business Insurance Forum to discuss strategies and recommendations for small businesses with one to 50 employees to successfully navigate the changing regulatory and market landscape in this important area of business.
The keynote speaker is Anne Melissa Dowling, the Connecticut Deputy Insurance Commissioner who will offer an update on state and federal insurance programs such as the Affordable Care Act and the Access Health CT insurance exchange.
In addition, there will be two panels of experts from insurance carriers to local agents to discuss healthcare-specific strategies as well as other employee benefit programs.
The forum will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Nuchie’s Restaurant, 164 Central St., in Forestville.
