Bristol FCG team has success AAU meet

Bristol FCG (Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Family Center’s Gymnastics Program) hosted an AAU gymnastics meet on Sunday, Feb. 22 with 140 gymnasts from surrounding towns. The visiting teams were Tri-Town Gymnastics (Tolland), Northwest Gymnastics (Winsted), Somersault Jungle (Somers), and Gymnastics Training Center (Simsbury).
The local girls had a successful meet. Lili Morneault achieved a personal high All-Around score of 36.75 placing first on all four events in her age group. Other top finishers in their age group and level were: Marissa Losacano, first AA(first on beam, bars, floor); Carolyn Wilson, first AA (first on bars, beam, and floor); Claire Saunders, first AA(first on vault, bars, floor); Sharon Adkins, first AA; Nithalie Sarcol, first AA; Alena Hauer, first AA,; Julia Freimuth, first AA; Jada Eliott, second AA; Emma Kimball, second AA; Jaine Tu, second AA; Alison Sullivan, second AA; Julianna Scott, third AA.
Bristol FCG team next home meet will be on April 5. They also will be hosting the AAU State Meet on May 2.
