HARTFORD – Representative Whit Betts (R-77) has announced April office hours in Terryville to meet with residents and discuss updates on the 2015 Legislative Session.
“As we continue to move through the 2015 legislative session, there are many important issues being discussed by lawmakers and it is a very busy time at the State Capitol,” said Betts, according to a press release from his office. “I am looking forward meeting with my constituents during the office hours in Terryville, and hearing their perspective regarding state or local issues. We will soon be debating legislation on the House floor, and it is important that I hear directly from my constituents about their thoughts and opinions on these matters so that I can be their strong voice and advocate in Hartford. I want them to know that I am listening.”
Bristol, Plymouth, and Terryville residents are encouraged to join their legislator and talk about any issues, questions or concerns related to their town or state government.
The event will be held on Friday, April 17 from 8 to 9 a.m.at The Lucky Cup, 18 Main St., Terryville. The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
