This is last week for spring leaf bag collection is the week of April 27. Do not put sod, sand, brush or woodchips in leaf bags. Place leaf bags at the curb when full for collection.
Yard waste (green barrel) collection is underway for paid subscribers and will continue weekly through Nov. 14. You can put only grass, leaves, woodchips and small twigs in the green barrel. No sod, rocks, sand or flower pots. Make sure your 2015 paid sticker is on the barrel.

Bulk pick up collections (items too large for the rubbish barrel) are available by appointment to residents who have city rubbish/recycle collection. One free collection is available per calendar year per address. Additional collections are available for $25 each. Information is available at www.bristolct.gov/bulk. Call Public Works to schedule. Renters, have your landlord call to schedule.
