As Operation Storefront Art wraps up, win your favorite ‘heart’-inspired piece

all heart logoThe Bristol Art Squad has been deploying art in vacant storefronts throughout the city with “Operation Storefront Art,” creating a positive buzz in the community, and helping lease vacant spaces.

With “Operation Storefront Art” wrapping up on May 15, the Art Squad is extending the community’s opportunity to see the six artists’ diverse artwork, but this time up close and personal.

Each storefront currently hosts a variety of work across different mediums from acrylic paint, to watercolor, oil, photography, and mixed-media. Each storefront also hosts a custom “All Heart” piece in that artist’s style. Each “All Heart” piece is the artist’s interpretation of Bristol’s “All Heart” brand and what it means to them.

Starting Thursday, May 21, all six “All Heart” pieces will be displayed in Firefly Hollow Brewing where community members will get a chance to not only admire each piece, but even win it.

Go to Firefly Hollow Brewing at 139 Center St. in Bristol between May 21 and May 31 during hours of operation (FireflyHollowBrewing.com) to check out the art. If you want to win the pieces, enter yourself into the free raffle by taking a selfie photo in front of the “All Heart” piece you want to win and post a selfie to at least one of your social media accounts — Facebook (ensure post is public), Twitter, or Instagram — with the following three hashtags: #operationstorefrontart #bristolct #allheart

On Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m., the Art Squad will have a project wrap-up party celebrating the storefront run and announcing the raffle winners of the “All Heart” pieces.
