Local high school students vie for ArtScience prize Tuesday

One of the six teams of local high school students participating in the ArtScience Prize at the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Family Center will attend the International Innovation Workshop this summer in Cambridge, Mass.
The Artscience Prize supports young people around the globe in developing innovative art and design ideas that are both personally and societally relevant. Each team’s idea stems from this year’s scientific theme: Biodiversity.
Students will share their ideas with community members, partners, and friends on Tuesday, May 12 at 6 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic High School.
A team of judges who are experts in the arts and Sciences will decide which team’s idea should be taken to the workshop.
The event is free and open to the public. Light fare and refreshments will be served.
