The Bristol Public Schools is accepting applications for its Early Childhood Programs for the 2015-2016 school years. Screenings occur in January, June, and August. Interested parents/guardians may submit an application in order to be invited to a screening. School staff will determine placement either in the Community Peers Program or the Early Childhood Preschool, after screenings. All programs are free, half-day sessions, which are held five days a week. Slots are limited and based on student need and program requirements.
Families must be residents of Bristol to attend.
Peers Program classes begin on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Early Childhood Programs begin on Monday, Aug. 31.
Reminder: children eligible to attend kindergarten (born in 2010) will not be accepted into Bristol Preschool Programs.
Parents/Guardians may obtain an application at their neighborhood school, community library, or online at www.bristol.k12.ct.us on the preschool web page. Applications may be dropped off at your community school or mailed to: Jodi Bond, Bristol Board of Education, 29 Church St., Bristol, CT 06010.
