Chamber hosting political debates Sept. 28, Oct. 19

The Greater Bristol Chamber of Commerce, an affiliate of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce, will host two debates for candidates running in the upcoming council and mayoral races. The debate will be held on Monday, Sept. 28, starting at 6 p.m., in the St. Paul High School auditorium on the corner of Maltby Street and Stafford Avenue in Bristol.
The mayoral debate will be held Monday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.
Each debate will include a one minute introduction per candidate, randomly chosen questions (two per city council district and four for mayoral candidates) followed by two minute answers per candidate plus a one minute rebuttal/response, and finally a two minute wrap-up question/answer/statement per candidate .The debate is free and open to the public.
