Republican legislators meet with seniors

State Sen. Henri Martin and State Reps. Whit Betts and Cara Pavalock visited with Bristol Seniors during a recent visit to the Bristol Senior Center.

The legislators had the opportunity to speak to the group about the 2015 legislative session, including the recently passed state budget and new legislation affecting them.

As the legislators fielded questions from the group, many seniors expressed concern about the increasing tax burden on Connecticut taxpayers.

Any senior who missed the event but would like to express a concern to their legislator may do so at 800-842-1423 for state Rep. Whit Betts (whit.betts@housegop.ct.gov) and state Rep. Cara Pavalock (cara.pavalock@housegop.ct.gov) or (860)240-0022 for Senator Henri Martin (Henri.Martin@cga.ct.gov).
