MF Fitness in downtown Bristol has started a high school scholarship program as part of its MF Fitness Challenge.
The scholarship will be available to any Bristol high school senior—attending Bristol Eastern, Bristol Central, and St. Paul Catholic high schools. MF Training is looking to award three scholarships each year of between $500-$2000.
Applicants will be selected based on essay, career path (must be fitness-oriented), and applicants may possibly put the scholarship funds towards the student getting certified in personal training and getting an internship at MF Fitness.
The fitness challenge sign up is $20 and participants will be coached through a five station circuit work out, recieve a t-shirt, get promotional training options and discounts.
Participants chose the difficulty by signing up at a certain repetition count appropriate for their fitness level.
“The challenge is for a good cause, which is raising interest in fitness and health and developing quality, young personal trainers to keep our community fit and healthy,” said MF Training’s Justin Michaels.
The fastest time to finish in both the over 30 men / woman and under 30 men / woman will recieve a free month of personal training.
