Taking her place will be The Plymouth Historical Society’s Jerry Milne, who will play the role of the Leather Man. He recently performed this characterization at Barnes Nature Center. He will bring artifacts and a reproduction of a Leather Man outfit.
Tom Dickau, who was a speaker for several years on this topic for the Connecticut Historical Society will supplement Jerry in his narration. A DVD called; “The Road between Heaven and Hell- The Last Circuit of the Leather Man” will also be shown. This production was made by The Connecticut Humanities Council in 2008.
The Bristol Federal Hill Association is sponsoring this event as part of The BHS Third Thursday Series. Members of BFHA and BHS receive free admissions.
Non-members are requested to make a $5 donation. Light refreshments will be served.
