The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Chippanee Country Club, located at 6 Marsh Road, Bristol. Every year the wine gala has been the most successful fund raiser of Young Professionals, and this year will not disappoint, according to a press release from the group. The event will feature over 70 wines, beers and liquors to taste as well as hors d’oeuvres, pasta stations, desserts and coffee, in addition to a variety of raffle prizes, and more.
Tickets cost $60 per person. Attendees must be 21 years old to participate in the wine tasting.
Proceeds will support the United Way of West Central Connecticut. This year, a portion of the proceeds from the gala will support the Kyla’s Kids Fund, an organization that was formed after a domestic violence tragedy left three children without parents. The fund benefits the surviving Ryng children and helps to fund legislation to end domestic violence.
