Harley raffle winner announced

With winning ticket number 2422, David Mastrioni from Bristol won the 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide raffle this past weekend that benefitted the New England Carousel Museum.

Second prize, a 5 foot x 8 foot trailer, went to ticket number 0500 held by Yoko Weaver from Terryville, and the third prize, a $100 gift certificate redeemable at Yankee Harley Davidson in Bristol, went to Torrey Allen from Wolcott with ticket number 2024.

The New England Carousel Museum, a non-profit organization, has run the raffle for 18 years as the major fund raiser each year to benefit the museum’s educational programming and general operations.

“The raffle is our biggest fundraiser of the year with board members, staff, volunteers, and Greater Bristol businesses, working together, all helping to sell tickets to benefit the museum. In addition to bringing in funding, this fund raiser gets us out into the Connecticut community from May through November promoting our museum and all that we offer,” said Louise DeMars, executive director of the museum in a press release about the raffle.  “We receive an amazing positive response from people about their wonderful experiences at the Carousel Museum.”

The museum is located at 95 Riverside Ave. (Route 72) in Bristol. For more information, call the Carousel Museum at (860) 585-5411, fax, (860)314-0483; email info@thecarouselmuseum.org, or visit www.thecarouselmuseum.org..
