Bristol History Room open on Saturday

In addition to its regular hours, the library’s Bristol History Room will be open to the public from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Visitors will have a chance to win a free copy of the book “Bristol Connecticut in World War II.” On permanent display in the local history room are nearly a hundred historic images of Bristol including an entire wall devoted to Lake Compounce. There is a temporary exhibit of Bristol made clocks and New Departure bells.
