Santa says thanks…

The Observer received this letter of thanks regarding last Saturday’s Breakfast with Santa.

To the editor:

I had a great time at my breakfast at the Little League Center on Dec. 5. It was wonderful to see old friends and meet new friends. I want to thank the people who helped, like Mrs. Lubrico and her princesses who organized and kept track of the donated toys, the Kids in the Middle who tirelessly carried trays and cleaned, the young adults from Chase Collegiate who did anything and everything they were asked to do, and all the hard workers in the kitchen who prepared such a delicious breakfast.

I especially want to thank all of you who came to see me. As I get ready for my long journey Christmas Eve, I like to see my friends and hear how they’ve been.

Remember to leave me some cookies, please, on Christmas Eve. It’s a very long night and I get very hungry.

Your friend,

Santa Claus
